Adorable Gecko recently came to TCR after we were contacted for help with a hoarding situation of over 50 cats. Gecko is a kitten who is a little bit timid at first, but give him a few moments to warm up, and you'll be fast friends in no time. Gecko loves to play, and he will make a toy out of anything - catnip mice, wand toys, and crinkle balls are all good old favorites. After living with so many cats in his previous home, Gecko especially loves hanging out with other kitties and must be adopted along with another kitten here at TCR, or go to a home with another cat friend he can pal around with. Gecko enjoys being petted and will purr after some time, but he is still a little nervous of fast movements and may keep his distance at first. We think he could do well in a home with older, respectful kiddos, but he may take some time to warm up to younger kids. Overall, he is a sweet and easy to handle kitten once he realizes you mean him no harm. Gecko is about five months old. He has been neutered, dewormed, flea treated, microchipped, vaccinated, and has tested FIV/FeLV-. Please apply for this gentle little kitten (and a friend?) today!
