We adopted Lucy along with her brother, Linus, from the Humane Society of North Texas in 2022. She is 3 years old (born 3/22/20). The person who owned Lucy before us had her front claws removed, so she needs to be an indoor only cat. When we first brought her home, she was naturally skittish and wanted to hide. It took her quite a while (months) to realize that we weren't a threat and warmed up to us. She doesn't like to be picked up, but she does occasionally want in your lap. She likes to be where the people are and will hang out on the bed while we watch TV at night. She is still very playful. She and Linus like to wrestle and chase each other through the house. She is bonded with Linus, so we will not adopt them separately. To take one is to take them both. Linus has his own profile on this site, so please look at it for information about him.
