Beam me up, Scotty! This lovely easy-going orange guy was rescued from an empty lot in Queens. He's social, playful, friendly, and he gets along with other cats. He can also be the only cat in your home! He loves being petted, and will happily sit by your side while you watch a movie or play a game.Scotty is FIV and FeLV negative, neutered, and up-to-date on shots. Come meet him at Petco Union Square!Adoption processAll cats and kittens are vaccinated and tested for FELV (feline leukemia) and FIV (feline immunodeficiency virus), and if old enough, are neutered or spayed.We will ask you some questions about your home and we will be glad to answer any questions you may have. Adopting a pet is a long-term commitment. We ask you to sign the KittyKind Adoption Agreement.We will always take a cat back FOR ANY REASON. We will also work with you to place her in another good home if (after a period of adjustment) the adoption doesn't work out. We do ask for a $125 adoption fee to help cover some of our food and veterinary expenses. For certain purebred cats (Siamese, Persian, Maine Coon, etc.), we request a $150 - $300 adoption fee.Shelter locationVisit KittyKind at Petco Union Square at the corner of 17th Street and Broadway in Manhattan.KittyKind representative is always at Petco at the following times:Monday to Friday: 6 PM - 9 PMSaturday: 1 PM - 9 PMSunday: 1 PM - 6 PM
