Timid Dalia and her Secret Garden kittens would love to find a serene and peaceful environment where she can devote her attention to raising her kittens to be healthy and strong. Fortunately, Mom will handle the majority of the kittens' care during the crucial first weeks of their lives until they are ready to explore independently. Dalia is a very good momma kitty and she allows people to handle her kittens; however she herself is quite shy and will do best in a quiet home with a foster who will give her the space she needs to feel comfortable.Litter consists of: Dalia (mom) and Lilas Craven, Martha Sowerby, Mary Lennox, Dickon, and Misselthwaite.Reason for Foster: Nursing Mom & Babies Foster Time Frame - See below Mom: Until 6 weeks with Babies Babies: Until 6 weeks old with Mama, in foster until 8 weeks old Foster Care Plan: The kittens are still nursing with Mom until they reach 6 weeks of age. After this period, the kittens will be ready to continue their journey on their own and Mom will go into another foster home to begin her recovering from nursing period. We will provide kitten nursery consultation upon arrival along with training if needed. All supplies and resources with be provided to confidently take care of these mom and babies.Adoption processVisit us at 3201 Earhart Dr, Carrollton, TX 75006Monday, Wednesday, Thursday - 12:00 pm to 7:00 pmFriday, Saturday, Sunday - 11:00 am to 5:00 pmTuesday - ClosedFill out a simple application to walk through shelter. Then spend time with an adoption counselor and pet of your choice to decide if you want to adopt.
