This is a courtesy post Meet Olive. She is a beautiful, female Calico Persian cat with lovely amber eyes. She is estimated to be around 3 years old. Olive is a feisty kitty that loves to play, but after she’s done she will want to cuddle up next to you on the couch, maybe even in your lap. She is vocal about being fed on time, and she is on a prescription wet food diet for some tummy issues. She enjoys being brushed around her neck and her back, but is unsure about her tail or behind being brushed, so taking her to a groomer is a must. Her eyes need to be cleaned out daily. Olive needs to be in a home as an only pet without children. She would love someone to spoil her rotten as their only baby. She came from the shelter, but unfortunately she does not get along with the other cat in the family and that's why she needs to be re homed Please email us for more information and inquiries. We hold an event every weekend at our facility on SATURDAY and SUNDAY 11-5pm and open to the public. It is first come first serve we do not evaluate applications prior to an event. If there are multiple interested parties in the same cat or kitten at the same time we would pick the best out of the 10 applications. The Lovejoy Foundation, Inc. does not adopt beyond a 30 mile radius from our headquarters in Inglewood. Sometimes exceptions are made in a particular situation for an adopter further out than 30 miles which is at the discretion of the director.Adoption processStarts with an application, there must be a meet and greet with all family members including pets, if approved a home check is done. Once approved a contract is completed and then the adoption donation; All of our dogs/puppies are spayed and/or neutered, micro chipped, current on all vaccines and rabies, de-flea, de-worm & you receive a 2 hour in home training session with one of our on staff trainers. With all of that included there is an adoption donation in the amount of $550. Our adoption donation includes all the medical mentioned above.Shelter locationThe Lovejoy Foundation holds adoption events every Sat. and Sun. from 11am to 5pm at The Clubhouse, 1121 West Hillcrest Blvd. Inglwood, CA 90301. M-F at The Clubhouse we are training, grooming, boarding, and doing daycare for our clients as well as our rescues, so unfortunitly the only oppertunitys to see our rescues is during our weekend adoption events. We look forward to helping you find your perfect match on Sat. and Sun. from 11-5. Please keep in mind our adoption events take place in an outside venue, with wet weather, high winds, and chilly temperature we would not hold a normal event, so please call ahead before coming 310-719-XXXX.
