Josie was recently rescued from the life of a stray cat. She was found to be about 8 years old and pregnant. In all her life this was the first time somebody stepped up to care for her. Josie is now in need of a forever home to offer her peace and safety indoors. She's very sweet and definitely a lap cat - she loves to be petted. Josie is a vocal kitty and would love to have a cat buddy in her future home, as well as her people. Josie has been spayed and vaccinated and is now in good temporary foster care. We tailor our adoption process to fit the needs of each adoption, whether it be a home visit or other specific situation. Adoptions are allowed to proceed only after careful checking of the situation for each animal.Shelter locationRAIN Thrift store is open daily at the address above. Adopters can meet the pets there that are currently available for adoption. We're in the process of setting up with other websites to add our photos to expand coverage for our adoptable pets.
