Alice was rescued from a condemned and abandoned home where she'd been locked inside. She climbed on a pile of trash to paw at the front window when police showed up to let them know she needed help. Because of Alice, the other cat n the home was saved as well. Alice is on a slow weight loss regimen (with the help of her shelter friends) to bring her down to a more healthy weight. She's a talker and likes to interact with people. Other cats seem to keep her entertained. Thank you for your interest in adopting! We will set up a time with you to meet the animal you've applied to adopt! ** We DO give preference to applicants with verifiable pet experience. All cats are spayed/neutered, FeLV/FIV negative unless otherwise indicated. All are up to date on age appropriate vaccinations. All of our resident cats use their litter boxes unless otherwise indicated. Cats are naturally inclined to use a litter box. Cat Fact: If a domestic cat is not using a litter box THEY ARE TRYING TO TELL YOU SOMETHING IS WRONG! It should never be ignored! Your cat is depending on you for help. Our adoption fee for felines is $65. That covers the cost of spay/neuter, FeLV/FIV test and vaccinations (if applicable). We look forward to meeting you!
