Hi, my name is Snickerdoodle! I'm a local stray from Minnesota! From the foster: Howdy, folks! I am Snickerdoodle, a beautiful, spunky male 10-month-old tabby with mesmerizing round eyes - my foster mom thinks I look like a tiny ocelot! I was found abandoned (and stinky) in South Minneapolis in early May and have been enjoying the indoor high life with my foster mom, foster human brother (6 yo), 3 foster cat siblings, 1 foster dog brother and many fish since then. I am looking for my forever home - preferably with a companion to play with (feline, young female preferred) and lots of play toys and windows to watch the birds and squirrels outside. I really LOOOOVE to play, and my favorites include brown paper bags, fuzzy/sparkly/belled/tennis balls (I even like playing with my bro's soccer ball!), wind-up toys, feathers, and of course, my favorite game is playing hide-and-seek with my foster sister (2 year old female calico). I am high energy and like to run around alot during the day, but I also crave your attention at times, so I'll wrap around your legs whenever I get a chance. Despite my youth and high energy, I never scratch the furniture or drapes, never climb screens (the horror!) and use my litter box like a pro. I also like to hide under rugs to sleep and pop out to unsuspecting passersby... I am just a cutie pie!! I almost always sleep on a soft rug in my foster mom's bedroom so I can protect her from any intruders. I don't jump on counters, knock over glasses, or try to escape - little things count, ya know!?? I get along with my foster dog brother, although we aren't 'friends' we leave eachother alone (although occasionally play!). I get along great with my foster cat sister, but I would do best as the only male cat in the household. I am the king! I have a lovely loud purr that I use often, I 'chirp' to let you know I am around, and chirp repeatedly when I am seeking attention or play. My foster mom is working on teaching me to curtail the 'love bites' when I get excited, but I have never hurt her or my human brother, and she thinks I'll need a cat parent who will gently reprimand and continue to teach me that human hands aren't like kitty paws! I just get SO excited when I am pet and happy and cuddled - but I am learning. The love bites have significantly improved in the 3 months I've been in a real home. I am neutered and up to date on vaccinations, FIV/FLV negative with vet records for your reading pleasure. I also LOVE food, and treats and wet food will ensure my heart is yours. I have no dietary restrictions or medication requirements, so I am truly an easy, fun loving, affectionate gentleman in seek of my forever home. If you want to meet me, give my foster mom a call!
