Hi! My name is Dolly and I am a beautiful 1-2 year old Tuxedo lady. I’ve been through a lot recently: I was abandoned, had a litter of kittens, and have moved around until settling in at my foster home. I’m still nervous and could use an experienced cat owner who will be patient with me and help rebuild my trust in humans. I have a great appetite and give the sweetest, softest meows when I would like some treats or a snack. My foster parents are very impressed with how gently I will take the treats from their hands and how I’m making progress with being petted. I’m still learning how to trust them, so I prefer slow movement and gentle petting right now, and every day I get more comfortable being around them. They’ve even spotted me playing with a catnip toy recently! I would be OK as an only cat, but I also didn’t mind having another cat around for a while at my foster home. I don’t mind plenty of quiet time to myself, and would make a great companion to someone who works full time. I am hoping to find a forever home where my new parents understand it will take some TLC for me to continue to come out of my shell. I am available through Kitty Connection in Medford.
