Cats located in this city: Lakeland, FL Cats’ Names: Oreo Cat’s Age & Sex: male, estimated 10-12weeks old Cat’s vetting history: (not neutered, has received 1 round of vaccination, is not microchipped) Animals story: This kittty was one of 4 who were literally left on my front doorstep with mama nowhere to be found for 2 days. I took them in when I watched the camera and saw they were not leaving my door, hadn’t eaten, were getting increasingly dehydrated and their eyes seems to beg me for help. All babies were successfully adopted but poor Oreo was sadly returned by his home who decided they did not want him after all which was NO fault of his own. He is now searching for a real forever home. Someone who will love him forever Personality: Oreo is black and white and is a bit shy, but tolerates all affection, he is gaining confidence by the day; he has been rejected before so he is a little heart broken so he will want extra love from you in his forever home! Any Supplies that go with pet: supplies can be arranged based on need but currently he will come with a few toys he currently prefers (which changes day to day - they’re kittens so they have phases) and some starter food.What food is the cat eating: the kittens eat wet food and some dry food as snacks right nowPlease make sure they get wet food daily and read below to learn why. :::::::::::Please know that cats need canned wet food given DAILY. Why? Because cats have a low thirst drive and actually NEED the moisture from the wet food! Wet food is 75 % water (dry FOOD only 10%) and giving them wet food daily will help them avoid Urinary tract issues (which can lead to litter box avoidance), kidney disease, obesity issues linked to diabetes and cardiac issues. You will save on vet bills too! Limit the overly processed dry food and ensure cat eats all the wet food daily::::::::::: Cats need 2.5-3oz. A day although 5.5-6oz.
