Hi! I have ringworm, the friendly fungus!Ringworm is a fungal infection (not a worm) of the skin that causes circular lesions and hair loss. It makes us very itchy! Ringworm is treated with Itrafungol, a liquid oral medication. Every two weeks I should have a recheck with our clinic until I am clear! It's best to keep me in an easy to clean environment to reduce the spread of fungal spores. Ringworm can be transmitted to other animals or people. I can be taken home today, and you'll be taking my medication with you!
