Hi, I’m Macchiato, so named because of the gorgeous caramel tones in my fur, and because I am incredibly sweet! I was found in a colony, but I quickly decided indoor life is for me. I’m a bit shy at first, but once I feel comfortable, I am super affectionate! I will lean hard into pets, and I enjoy human contact a lot. I even developed a reputation at the vet for being a super sweet girl, cuddling and loving on the vet tech even after I’d just gotten shots! I’ve never lived in a home before, so I’m looking for a family who can teach me what it means to be a family girl, loved and taken care of, with my lonely days far behind me. I’d like a family where I get a good amount of people time, and maybe even sleep in the bed with my people at night. I don’t know if I’ve ever been around dogs before. I REALLY like other cats and would do best in a home with a feline friend or two. I don’t know if I’ve ever been around kids, but I think I’d be okay with very calm, older children (12 and up) who are very gentle with me and understand to move slowly. I am a foodie, and I like both wet and dry food (and treats, please!) I like having cozy places to sleep and decompress. I’m still figuring out toys cause that wasn’t really part of my life outside. Maybe we can hang out together and figure out what kind of toys I like the best? I hope you’ll come meet me and bring a little sweetness into your home!
