Scarlet is a playful, lovable gray tabby estimated to be around one year old. She loves playtime with her little mice and string toys and gets a kick out of catnip! Scarlet loves being brushed and isn’t shy about letting you know when she is ready for some attention. She can be a real talker! Another way to Scarlet’s heart is through her stomach; she goes wild for treats. Scarlet was sadly left outside when her family moved away. Her luck changed when a concerned neighbor reached out on her behalf. Initially, Scarlet was overwhelmed with the shuffle of rescue. Once she had her own cozy nest by a window with a bird feeder, she relaxed into the sweet girl we know and love today. Scarlet has made it clear that she is not a fan of other felines, so she would make a great companion for someone seeking a solo young adult cat.
