Rainbow is a lovely 2 year old spayed female dilute calico cat, who is in need of an understanding home. Rainbow wants to be friendly, but at the same time is a bit shy. She will purr when petted but isn’t always brave enough to allow someone to pet her.She came to Woods Humane after the floods in January, but did not do well at the shelter, so we thought she might do better in a foster home. Her niche appears to be bug patrol in a garden or back yard, with a cozy bed in a house, garage or garden shed nearby… She is fascinated by frogs and has tried to followa lizard, but she is not a serious hunter. Rainbow will need a special and understanding home. If you are interested in integrating Rainbow into your world, we can help you set up a routine for her and help her learn about her new home. If you have a calm household and might have room in your heart for this somewhat shy, somewhat needy, somewhat confused kitty, who might want to be an indoor/outdoor cat, but probably wants to stick close to home, please contact me.
