NelsonHowdy, y'all; my name is Nelson! I'm just a young buck (1-year-old) with heaps of energy. I've been returned to the shelter a handful of times since I was a little sprout after brief adoption periods. I'm just a cat with lots of energy and playfulness. To help me burn off my liveliness, 10-20 minute interactive play sessions 2-3 times daily will help to tire me out and teach me social skills. The folks who have adopted me in the past couldn't commit to this "grueling" play schedule. When youngins' like me don't have an outlet for pent-up energy, we tend to get restless. We need dedicated playtime with our family to avoid becoming bored and getting in trouble. My forever family should have plenty of interactive toys on hand, so I stay busy while we strengthen our bond. My foster family spends quality time with me and helps me trust that I don't have to worry about my food. I will be fed no matter what! I'm working on my table manners, so this won't be an issue in the future. It's been traumatic being abandoned so often. The stress of learning new environments, people, and pets has been tough to handle. But soon, I'll be ready to ride off into the sunset with my forever family! 8-12-23
