Helloooo down there! I'm Jackson, a guy with a flaxen coat - well, I'm an orange tabby adult male who came to Paws and Claws with another fellow, Jefferson. Our person passed away, and a family member brought us here so we can find another home. We get along quite well and might like to be adopted together. Life changes are hard, and I'm a little nervous, but I'm doing okay. I like to climb up onto high places. I play some, and I enjoy being petted. Finding a new home will be kind of bittersweet, you know? I miss my person, but it will be good to have a home again. I hope you'll be patient with me while I adjust. Adoption fee $100 + microchip fee $30 + taxAdoption processPaws and Claws Humane Society (PCHS) is a non-profit, mostly volunteer organization that rescues and shelters homeless cats and dogs until they can be adopted into their “forever” homes. We want our clients to understand that adopting and animal is a lifetime responsibility and commitment to that animal. All prospective adopters must show (at the time of adoption) a valid drivers license or other acceptable identification to verify their name, address, and age. Adopters must be 18 yrs of age. Children under the age of 12 years old need to be present at time of viewing shelter cats or dogs. After submitting an application, there is generally a processing period of 1-3 days in order to complete all pre-adoption checks and paperwork before an adopter may take possession of the animal.
