Description:
I adopted George 7 years ago from a rescue in Colorado Springs, CO. He was picked up with a feral colony in a TNR program there. After he was neutered and his ear was tipped, the rescue realized he wasn’t feral but a stray living with the colony. They estimated him to be a year old when they found him, meaning he’s about 8 1/2 now. We moved to Utah in 2020 and couldn’t find a vet with an opening for new pets. He has been to the ER vet though, so his last rabies shot was about two years ago. He is a very sweet, slightly shy cat who warms up to women pretty quickly but not so quick with men. He does not love dogs, but will accept cats after he gets to know them. He loves to have his head and chin scratched, and adores his treats. He doesn’t like being picked up or held, but will curl up next to me often and sleeps by my head every night. I’m heartbroken to give him up, but need to find a new home for him soon.
