If you're looking for a talkative, energetic playmate and bird-watching expert then Lux is the cat for you! Lux is a curious lady that loves to be around her people and stalk cat toys from the secret depths of empty boxes. As any dignified cat she likes face to face greetings and loves to hop up on a couch or chair for a good nose to nose boop. Her mornings always start with lots of chirps and purring and leg rubs, which are quickly followed by a deep desire for playtime. Afternoons are spent napping in a quiet spot, and she'll even curl up with you if you're very still and don't disturb her beauty rest! Lux came to PAWS from a stressful home and is currently in a foster home because the shelter didn't provide the calm and space she needed to really be herself. While she lived with a big dog and children in her past life, she's a sensitive lady and would probably do best in an adult-only home with no other pets. She loves looking out the window at birds and squirrels in the trees, but loud noises still spook her a bit so she'd prefer a home with 2nd (or higher) floor views so that she can feel safe while enjoying the scenery. Lux has adapted quickly to life in her new foster home and she'll be just as quick to embrace a new life with you!
