Possum's human surrendered him because there were too many other animals to care for. That must be very bewildering for any animal and Possum was very shy on his arrival here. He is slowly coming out of his shell and seeking interaction with visitors. He may take a little time to warm up to you but, if you are quietly patient, you will likely be rewarded with Possum head butting you on your arm or leg inviting you to gently pet him! He is good with other cats and loves feather wand toys. If you are lucky, he may lie down and expose his belly seeking a light tummy rub! Such a sweet cat!
