BONDED PAIR: Sunny and Sparkles. Meet Sunny, a lively marmalade cat with a radiant spirit and a yearning for adventure. He has major hunting instincts while his playful engagement with creatures and toys alike display his vivacious personality. Within Sunny's energetic exterior lies a clever, resourceful mouser. Despite his adventurous nature, he cherishes affectionate moments and has a fondness for tummy rubs. Sunny is the perfect companion for those seeking a blend of excitement and homely warmth, promising a life rich with companionship and abundant joy.Sparkes and Sunny were adopted as kittens but their family needed to move cross-country to care for parents and could not take 2 cats with them. Since they are bonded, they chose to keep them together so the change of life circumstances wouldn't be so hard on one. Sparkles and Sunny are understandably confused about their current situation but truly loved one another in their home. Their foster has said that they are very confident kitties and so fun! They greet every person and dog that comes in the door at her grooming salon. They are always climbining things and getting into things like kittens despite the fact that they are chubby young adults. Meet Sparkles and Sunny by completing an application on the website. They are currently in a foster home. All cats and kittens are spayed/neutered, FELV/FIV tested, microchipped, current on vaccines, dewormer and flea preventative at time of adoption. All Mountain Pet Rescue (Asheville) animals are up-to-date on vaccinations, spayed/neutered and micro-chipped before adoption. Please note that visual breed identification of companion animals has been proven to be unreliable, so for most of our animals we provide a best guess at predominant breed or breed mix.
