Hello, my name is Spud! I came to TCPR with my babies who are all grown up and in their new homes, and now I'm ready for my new home. I'm a little gal at just 6.7lbs, but don't let that fool you! I am quick like a bunny and cunning like a fox. New people and environments are scary at first, and I like to use my smarts to find safe spots when I get worried. I'd like to have my own room to hangout in while I adjust to my new home, with lots of boxes to hide in and hopefully a window to look out from! I don't know if I'll be much of a lap cat, but I enjoy being in the same room as you and to see what you're doing. For attention I like to press my head against you and ask for scratches. If you do a full body length pet, I flop over onto my tummy. I have a pretty golden orange tummy to show you! I'm a little purr machine to show my gratitude for the love. Warming up to people can be daunting, so I would like someone who can be patient and give me time to feel comfortable with approaching you on my own. Treats go a really long way! I follow any feeding schedule and even give little chirps to express how ready I am for my food! I also have excellent litter box manners and never get underfoot. I think I would enjoy having at least one feline sibling - hanging out with them out in the open helps build my confidence! I also briefly lived with a cat-savvy dog and he was chill; we pretty much just ignored each other. If you'd be so willing, I would love to be your new companion and continue to learn about the good life with you! Spud is fixed, microchipped, FIV/FeLv negative, and up to date on vaccinations for their age.
