Hi. I am Sydney. I am one of the sweetest little ladies you have ever seen. I am also one of the most beautiful brown tabby cats ever too!!! My life in the beginning was a little sad. I was born a stray cat in an apartment complex where I was not wanted. I lived outside most of my life being chased away by management. I became a mother when I was just a baby myself. Life was scary and no fun. Fortunately, I had a couple of nice people in the complex who looked out for me. They fed me, helped find my babies homes and when the flood waters were rising, they got me in to foster care where I am thriving! I love living as an indoor cat. It feels very good to be wanted. I love using the litter box, sleeping on a comfy blanket and getting my head and chin rubbed. Every day I gain a bit more confidence. I am not a huge toy fan. I like to bat pompom balls around some but I am really all for human touch and attention. I turn in to a purring machine the minute I feel your hand stroking my back or chin. It just feels so good! I do enjoy a warm lap but I also am very happy just to curl up next to you.Given my history, my ideal home would be a quieter one, predictable and calm. I have lived with lots of cats. In my foster home, I also live with kids and dogs. I have no issue with any one as long as I am given space and support. I have thrived these last few weeks in my foster home. With CAWS and my foster families support, I am ready to make my next move…..to find my forever family. We are looking for someone who is patient and loving with a soft touch who will help me continue to grow and soar in to our new lives together.
