Still a kitten, this gray and white sweetheart came to us when a couple found him seeking shelter under their car. We don’t know how he got there or how long he survived alone, but Smoky was very friendly and grateful the moment he got to us. After rubbing our legs and arching with some scritches on his soft fur, Smoky’s yellow eyes got wide when he came into our large cat room. TOYS! Everywhere! He scooted through the plastic tubes and explored all our perches, looked through the window at the birds, and just seemed like the happiest kitty ever. Then he met our resident cats and immediately started networking. You know the kind – the gregarious person at the party who works through the crowd at ease… well that’s our Smoky. It’s like he went to heaven! Smoky would love a home of his home where he had people to love and a window to look out on the world. Our first impression is he’s quite adaptable to circumstances so, while we don’t yet know about compatibility with dogs or kids, we do believe he’d fit right in to most anywhere as long as he was loved and cared for.INDOOR ONLY Adoption fee: $65~~If you are interested in this animal, you can complete the questionnaire found on the available pets page of our website http://hbpr.org.
