Smokey is a super friendly 10-year-old Russian Blue mix. He is a social gentleman and appreciates lots of attention and lap time. Smokey lived on a farm where life had become a little too stressful for him. Other cats, ferals and wildlife around the house made him uneasy. His owner felt that a quiet indoor home would be the perfect place for him. Smokey would be a great companion for people who are home a lot and would love a cat who is personable and who wants to be close to his humans. Smokey would like a sunny windowsill to lounge on, maybe a wood stove, and interesting spaces to explore. But his main joy in life is a nice long cuddle with his person! The application and release of information forms are available at http://www.kingdomanimalshelter.com/available-cats.html or you can pick them up from the shelter during adoption hours.An adoption counselor will review your application, contact 1-2 personal references and contact your veterinarian for a reference. Additionally, if you are a renter, we will contact your landlord for permission to have an animal in the household.
