Cats and kittens 6 months of age or older have also been tested for FIV (please verify testing status for kittens under 6 months of age at the time of adoption). Adoptions are done in 30 minute appointment slots, so call the Feline Department at 410-848-XXXX ext 822 to schedule an appointment or to request more information regarding a specific animal. Please leave a detailed message if team members are not at their desk. Messages are returned by close of business day, Monday through Friday. Adopters can prepare for their appointment by being 21 years of age or older, having permission from their landlord to bring a new pet into their household, having some form of ID that shows their current address, and by bringing a suitable carrier to take their new companion home in. The adoption fee can be paid using cash, debit or credit. Kittens up to 6 months of age are $100; 7 months of age up to 9 years are $75; and 10 years or older are $50.
