Adopt Blackie a Black (Mostly) Domestic Mediumhair / Mixed cat in Brighton

Blackie lives in Mt Pleasant. She was an outside cat living in the garage. She's had a litter of kittens, which we gave away. We then got her spayed. She became an indoor/outdoor cat because the winters were too harsh on her.With the death of our father, my mother has been staying with us more frequently in Brighton. We already have a cat who doesn't like Blackie. We've had to leave Blackie at her house for several days in a row with friends checking on her. We don't feel this is fair to her and want to find her a loving home. She is super friendly and playful. She does have her claws still since we still let her outside. She chases after moles and has caught a few mice her and there as well. She doesn't mind dogs as she holds her own with them and plays with them. A home with a young child probably wouldn't be the best place for her since she has claws and could scratch at a child while playing. Blackie would be best with an owner that can spend a lot of time with her snuggling up.
