Spot is a special guy! Spot came to us in VERY rough shape. He was malnourished, dehydrated, and had maggots consuming his genitalia. It was a horrible sight. The maggots caused such damage that the healing process created a ton of scar tissue that actually sealed Spot's urethra closed and he was unable to urinate. We were very fortunate to find a veterinarian skilled enough to perform a successful perineal urethrostomy (PU) surgery on Spot and he is now good as new! He is a crazy kitten that eats and plays just like he should! It appears Spot sees movement and shadows, but we don't think his vision is super sharp. It doesn't stop him from racing around the house and tackling his foster siblings! Spot is also a purr machine who loves to snuggle on the bed with you at night!
