My name is Carmello but I'm so chill that everyone just calls me Carmi. Some people think I'm a MaineCoon mix but even if I'm not, I'm a big boy. I came to Safe Haven when my human mom went through a major change in her life and could no longer keep me. I miss her, but I'm so easy going that I've already made friends with all the humans I've met here at the sanctuary. Being anolder guy, I would love nothing more than to be in a quiet home where I can spend my days napping in the sun, eating treats (I love ‘em!) and getting love and affection from my humans. I'm not a big fan of other cats, but I may be able to live peacefully with another older cat. It's just that I prefer people so my human will be my bestie. I've been told that I'm a very good escape artist, so my next human willneed to be able to stay one step ahead of me. I'm neutered, microchipped, up to date on all my vaccinations, and I always use my litter box properly. Looking for a laid back, affectionate, older gentleman? I just might be the kitty for you!
