Not a throwaway cat!This handsome young boy was rescued from the landfill. At 8-10 months old he weighed only 3.5 pounds! Not only that, he had suffered a puncture wound and broken sternum. The life of Riley is really looking up now that he is in the loving arms of the Pet Paw-see!Adoption processWe have an adoption application. This application is reviewed, references checked and approved or not. Kittens under the age of 6 months are not adopted to families with children under the age of 6 years for the safety of both the kitten and the children. Potential adopters must be at least 18 years old. Renters must have landlord approval. Occasionally a home check is done for cats if there are concerns. All adopters must fill out and sign a contract. If the animal does not work out for any reason, we insist it is returned to us. The fee for cats 6 months old and older is $125. Kittens adoptions fee is $150. We require the animal is cared for and has regular vaccinations. If we feel a cat will be allowed to go outside or declawed, this is cause for a refusal.Shelter locationThe local Petco and PetSmart stores has allowed our group to partner with them in promoting responsible pet care and adoption.We have several animals housed in habitats at Great Falls PetCo and PetSmart stores. We also have an adoption event every Saturday in their stores for our animals from 12-3pm.
