My name, Susan, means lily, and I'm looking for the purrfect place where I can bloom. I'm an adult tortoiseshell girl who was found on a property in Spring Valley in April. Because I was thought to be pregnant, my rescuer fostered me. But no, I wasn't, so now I'm at the shelter. I'm comfortable with humans; I allow belly pets, and I'm patient enough to train you what I do and don't like! However, I can get overstimulated when I play, so I may do best in a home with no small children. It takes me some time to adjust to dogs, and I may smack them to show them who's boss. Please get some scratch posts and kitty condos for me to scratch so I don't claw your furniture! Also, I'm a gal who's on the lookout for open doors and am an adept door-dasher; please be aware. I'm not fond of being held while you're sitting, but I'll come around to greet you, and I'll sleep near you. But if you're walking around, I'll be your shadow, so be careful that you don't trip over me! I'm so sweet that you can carry me like a baby. My person suggests trying a baby wrap and thinks I'd be in heaven with one of those! Will you be choosin' Susan to bloom and grow as your forever girl?
