Even when she gets mauled by the giant kitten, Priscilla is very gentle and tolerant. She even rubs against you like a cat does! Devoted and eager to please, Priscilla is that one dog in your life that no other dog can ever compare up to. She gazes at you with her soulful, brown eyes and you feel so loved. She lays her head on you (or her whole body!) and sinks into you with deep relaxation. It’s such a peaceful and warm experience to feel cherished by this princess. But she is not JUST about the cuddles! This girl has pep in her step! She is thrilled to play with you, kids (over 6), and dogs too. Chase, wrestling, toys, sniff & explore… Priscilla is game for it all! She gets down into a full crouch to invite everyone to play. She may be 3 years old but there's plenty of puppy in her. It is just adorable! This social butterfly enjoys meeting new people. She’s a perfect princess in a car too, so that means you can take her wherever you go! Walks downtown, a cafe or brewpub, adventures in nature… she says yes, please! Priscilla is an ideal little package — not too big, not too small! She weighs just under 30 lbs. Her energy level is medium-high so she would love to have her own yard to play in. She *might* be okay without a yard if she got to go on multiple long walks or jogs every day. She has lived with older kids and loved them! Little children without gentle dog manners scare her (can you blame her?). But she would love to be a part of a busy family, go to soccer games, and have many family members to snuggle with. This smart girl is so trainable! She is food motivated and has already learned to go to bed, sit, and down. She is currently studying wait, recall, and the art of leash walking like the princess she is! Our PNW dogs are brought to you in style by a beautiful USDA licensed semi-truck, equipped with air conditioning for comfort, two drivers, and 2 onboard attendants providing 24 hour care. Our East Coast route will travel in a private, air conditioned 3LP-run van or bus transport. Pick up day is unforgettable! The adoption fee is $800 and includes all vetting per our veterinarian: DAPP (2 to 4 depending on age and time in the program), Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter surgery, flea prevention, 2-6 months of heartworm preventative according to age, heartworm testing and heartworm treatment if applicable, extended medical such as dentals, eye surgeries, and orthopedic surgeries prior to adoption when suggested by our partner vets, a microchip with free lifetime registration, a high quality nylon Martingale collar for dogs over 4 months old, a health certificate deeming the pup healthy for travel, cost of transport*, and many priceless years of love and loyal companionship! *WE ARE TOLD THAT WE GO ABOVE AND BEYOND MEDICALLY. This is the feedback we tend to get, although we cannot guarantee perfect health. *To fully vet a dog in the PNW at many vets it would be upwards of $1,800 just to fix, vaccinate, chip, etc. The adoption fees charged by our rescue do not cover our expenses medically for each animal, but we offset costs with donations.
