Cutie Pie is a sweet affectionate girl who would do best in a home where she is the center of your attention. Children must be at least 8 years old. *****************************************************************************Our adoption process: Prospective adopters must be at least 25 years old and live in Connecticut. You meet the cat(s) in whom you’re interested (we’re a foster-based organization and our cats are in several locations). If after meeting the cat(s) you want to proceed to adoption, we email our application to you; please return it within 48 hours. We call the animal hospitals you’ve used in the last five years for a reference and do a home visit by video chat. If you’re approved, you sign an adoption contract, we email the cat’s/cats’ medical paperwork to you and we meet at the PetSmart adoption center for you to pick up the cat(s) and receive a coupon booklet from PetSmart. The adoption fee is $250 per cat and must be paid in cash; this includes but isn’t limited to, spay or neuter, vaccinations, worming, flea/tick prevention, and microchip.Adoption processThe Queenie Foundation runs a cat rescue/adoption program in the greater Hartford, CT area. We believe that one way to stop overpopulation is to place animals only after they've been sterilized. Our fosters are fully vetted before they’re ready to go home. All you add is love! Occasionally, The Queenie Foundation posts animals who are available for adoption through other organizations or individuals, as a courtesy. If you have found an animal in whom you are interested who is not a Queenie Foundation cat, we invite you to contact the group or person whose information appears in the body of the profile. They can tell you all you need to know about the animal. Requirements for adopting a cat: You must be a Connecticut resident and be at least 25 years old. You will fill out a Companion Animal Guardian History, provide the name and phone number of all the animal hospitals you've used in the last three years for a reference plus agree to a home visit via video chat. If you are approved, you sign an adoption contract and we email the cat's medical records to you. The adoption fee is $250 per cat (to be paid in cash) which includes, but is not limited to, spay or neuter, vaccinations, worming, and microchip.Shelter locationThe Queenie Foundation places cats in Connecticut, ONLY. You can meet our foster cats at the Manchester, CT PetSmart adoption center Monday - Saturday, 9 - 9 and Sundays, 10 - 7. You can request to meet the cat in whom you're interested IF there's a volunteer on duty in the adoption center. Knock on the door and request to meet the cat.
