AMETHYST is a very friendly, sweet, petite girl found on the streets of the Bronx. While feeding community cats, one of our volunteers noticed a starving cat she'd never seen before. When she called out to the cat, Amethyst came running. She was very thin and so thirsty, she drank water for several minutes. Amethyst then jumped in our volunteer's car as if begging her not to leave her there, so of course, she took her home. Amethyst is doing well in her foster home. She excitedly greets visitors and leans into their hands for chin scratches. Amethyst would do well as on only cat since she loves attention. She also loves looking out the window at birds.
