ABOUT TURKEY TROT Gobble, Gobble! Meet our handsome 1.5 year old boy, Turkey Trot! He came to HAP when he was found as a stray by one of our vet techs. Despite being found as a stray, he enjoys being inside. However, he thinks his cat condo here is too small for his stuffed personality! Turkey can be shy sometimes at the shelter but we think he would really blossom in a home where he has more room to stretch his drumsticks. He has been affectionate with some of our staff. He isn't shy when it comes to his opinions though. If wants some time to explore on his own, he will let you know he's had enough love. Turkey has done well with the other kitties here and would likely thrive in a home with other cats! **Our cattery team highly recommends that Turkey Trot either be adopted with another cat or go to a home that already has resident cats. If you are interested in adopting this cat, please submit an adoption questionnaire! Our adoption process is on a first-come, best-match basis and we are not able to hold animals. If you are interested in this specific cat but it ends up not being the best fit upon meeting, our adoption counselors will work with you to help find a match! We may require all household members, including children, to come along for the meeting to make sure it's a good fit. If a match is made, we encourage same-day adoptions! Our adoption fees include the animals' spay/neuter, microchip, age-appropriate vaccinations and preventatives, and a small bag of food to get you started.
