Maxine and William are the most playful, loving lap cats (and in William’s case, shoulder cats) you could ever want. They are a bonded pair, and Maxine has stood in as William’s surrogate mom, making sure he’s brought up right. Maxine was found outside, when she ran up to her rescuer meowing for help and affection without any fear. She was immediately so happy to be back inside. Maxine is the kind of cat you drop off at the vet, and when the vet calls to ask you to come pick her up, says how in love the entire office has fallen with her. She is a people cat through and through, and never tires of attention--and is vocal in asking for it! She’s always been an absolute princess, and knows just how special and perfect she is. She likes to sleep at the foot of your bed, and in the crook of your arm on the couch. She is incredibly gentle, and never scratches or bites. Soon after she was rescued, we found out she has epilepsy. She is now seizure free, and requires oral medication 12 hours apart, which she eats easily with a treat. We never found a cause for her epilepsy, and she had so many tests and scans in the process that she comes with a completely clean bill of health otherwise.William is still a kitten. He is a total baby, and loves attention just as much as Maxine. He loves being cradled in your arms, or riding on your shoulder while you move around the house, purring loudly all the while. He is an avid explorer and climbs everywhere. He likes to play with every toy we have given him. He is an absolute rapscallion, and could easily make a career on TikTok for doing cat things like getting in your plants or...climbing on your bike like a jungle gym? Keep your plants out of reach and this boy has a heart of pure gold and goodness, with so much love to give. Maxine and William would do particularly well in a family with kids, since they have incredibly high tolerance for being picked up and annoyed. They would also do well with people who work at home and want super loving cats. They are incredibly social and never get tired of human interaction.Both kitties are spayed and neutered, up to date on vaccines and tested negative for felv/fiv.
