Soldier was found outside while I was doing TNR. He was seriously injured, with deep wounds all over his face, neck, and legs. He had been fighting for his life while living outside. When I took him to get fixed, the vet tech came to tell me he was the friendliest cat she'd ever met and if it was possible, to get him into a home where he could give his love. Soldier is listed as 'special needs' because he is FIV positive. FIV isn't contagious to humans, but it is contagious to other cats through bites, which is why he shouldn't be homed with any other cats. FIV compromises the immune system, so it's best for Soldier to stay inside a home where he won't be exposed to parasites, disease, other animals. He is about 4 years old and 11lb. Soldier is charismatic, loving, and just wants your attention / affection. He enjoys curling up on a soft blanket and falling asleep when cuddles aren't available. He needs someone who can look beyond his rough exterior to love the personality within.
