Kiss my pink nose! Auggie is a super sweet youngster who enjoys interacting with people and other cats. He has lots of kitten energy and loves playing pounce and tag with other cats. Auggie needs to be adopted into a home with a cat who will keep up with and enjoy his antics. When Auggie isn't making a toy out of anything, he will find the nearest lap or chest for a well-earned nap and long cuddle. Auggie was found alone, underweight and ill, seeking shelter on a rainy day. He quickly embraced the indoor life and will bring such joy to any cat-loving home. Auggie was born around July 2023.Adoption processOnce you've filled out an application, we will contact your references and put you in touch with the foster/caregiver of the cat. Once your application is approved, we schedule you to attend an online group seminar on cat care. Then you would sign the adoption papers, pay the adoption fee, and make arrangements for the cat to be moved to your home. We always do a home visit which is both reassuring to the cat when it is being introduced and to the foster who has taken care of the cat. Presently we are doing home visits with FaceTime or Zoom to confirm you have secure windows, no toxic plants and a generally safe environment for a cat. The adoption fee is $150 for one cat under 7 years old, $75 for one cat 7 years and older. All cats have been tested for the Feline Leukemia and FIV virus, vaccinated (FVRCP and Rabies vaccines), microchipped, dewormed and spayed/neutered.
