Hello everyone, my name is Delmar! As you can see, I'm a little different from other kitties. I was found outside freezing and starving by a nice woman who called to get me help. I was born without the radial bones in my two front legs. I was seen by an orthopedic specialist who told my foster mom that since I was born like this, I don't know anything different. I can run, jump, play and go up stairs just like any other cat! I'm still a little skittish, but have made a lot of progress since coming to my foster home. I LOVE to be pet and get belly rubs - I purr like crazy. I get along with other calm cats. Delmar was born on November 25, 2022. She is currently being fostered in Ansonia. She is fixed, is up-to-date on shots, is microchipped and tested neg for FIV/FeLV*. All of our cats and kittens are cared for in loving foster homes. "Meet and greets" can be arranged only after an application has been submitted and approved. If all is well on your application, we will contact you about setting up a home visit by one of our staff members. ****Please give your vet permission to release information to us as we check references. The adoption fee for our cats covers the cost of spaying/neutering, age appropriate routine vaccinations, deworming, snap test, and flea preventive treatment.
