Hi There! My name is Cinder! I'm a shy boy looking for a family worth coming out for, maybe you're the owner I've been waiting for?I was originally surrendered to Bay County Animal Control with my buddy, Murphy. Bay County couldn't provide adequate housing for Murphy's medical needs, so we were transferred as a pair to Pet Angel. My buddy Murphy is 23 lbs, and he needs to loose some weight before the vet will clear him for adoption, but the vet cleared me for adoption and said I could go home! Murphy and I are not bonded, so he and I decided that we would remain roommates here at Pet Angel, but would look for separate homes. He knows my hunt for a family may take longer than his, because I'm a shy cat and not a lot of adopters even know I'm here! I enjoy hidey holes and fluffy beds inside my favorite hidey spot. However, when you come over to spend time with me, I just MELT into you. I absolutely LOVE my head scratched, and will lean into your hand, and even turn my head exactly where I want you to pet me! I adore belly rubs, and will roll over right in my bed for your pets. I give slow, gentle slow blinks and when you bring me treats! I come out to go potty, eat and drink, but choose to do this when people aren't around right now. That's because Cat Rescues have a lot going on, and I'm still a little nervous about the hustle and bustle of the place! But once you get me home and settled, once we start to build a bond and a relationship, I just know I'm going to fit right in and you're going to think I've been there all along! I am ear tipped, which means I was originally an outside kitty! However, I am very shy and cannot go outside. Despite being ear tipped, I am looking for a quiet, strictly-indoor-only home with an owner who can show me a home really isn't all that scary! I would do great with other gentle cats, but wouldn't do well in a home with cats who would wrestle me, dogs, or children. I am fixed, microchipped, up to date on all my shots, and negative for FIV/FELV!
