Meet Boots! She used to live as an indoor kitty, until her family moved away. She was left outside and had a litter of kittens that she had to raise all by herself. No one had known they were there until the little ones started running around. She is a lovable girl, but her kitten have had almost no human contact. The person currently caring for her is okay with them all going to a barn home together, or to indoor homes in pairs. Boots would probably do well in a home with children, but we don’t know for sure. It would be nice for one of her babies to be able to get adopted with her, but they will require a much more experienced adopter who is willing to work on socializing them. I plan on taking her to the vet as soon as I can get an appointment scheduled for her. I am currently in the process of trying to trap the kittens to get them TNRs. However they are at high risk of being hit on the road where they’re currently living, so relocation would be best.
