Saffron, Domestic Shorthair For Adoption In Van Nuys, California

Price:
$200
Location:
Van Nuys, CA
Description:

Salam! My name is Saffron and I’m an exotic tabby all the way from Iran. I’m only about 2.5yo and I’ve already had quite a colorful start in life. That suits me fine though because I’m an independent gal with an adventurous soul. I have soooo much energy and just love to explore and play. My favorite toy is the fishing rod and time spent with my foster Mom is the best! You see, I really love people. Like REALLY love people. I may be independent but I’m super loyal and will follow my human around everywhere. When I dream of my forever home, I dream about a Mom or Dad or a Mom AND Dad who will love me hard and make time to play - The more people, the more attention right? While we’re on the subject, I love to be pet but I’ll let you know with a gentle tap when I’m done. I won’t sit on your lap and don’t really like being picked up but I’ll snuggle close and let you scratch my head and under my chin forever. Still not convinced? What if I said I have perfect manners and use the litter tray like a Princess? As for other animals, I’m not sure? I’ve only lived with one other kitty and she’s a grump so I don’t love hanging with her. But I’m also happier with friends around so having a buddy could be amazing if you go to work all day?! Heads up though, I do enjoy being the center of your world… Bottom line: I’ve lived such a nomadic lifestyle and I’m so ready to settle down with my forever family. My foster Mom says I’m a funny, sassy girl with a big heart and anyone who is lucky enough to adopt me will have a best friend for life. If you see me online I am still available for adoption! If you are interested in adopting me please fill out an application here: www.hitlivingfoundation.org/adoption-application, and email a video walkthrough of your home and yard to XXXX@hitlivingfoundation.org. Your application will not be counted as valid without your video. You will hear back from us within a few days.Adoption processAt the HIT Living Foundation, we rescue domestic and international at risk puppies and dogs who have been through traumatic experiences such as having high medical needs or a life with out any human companionship. It is of the utmost importance to us our pups are placed with the right fur-ever home based on compatibility. We work with all applicants and assess lifestyle and living situations to make sure you're the right fit for the pup and the pup is the right fit for you/your family. Once you've submitted your application, please allow 48 hours for review. If approved and we think it's a good match, we will move forward with a meet and greet where we urge you to bring your other dogs if applicable, followed by a home check. Once we are certain the dog is right for you and you are right for the dog, we will move to a foster to adopt program. There will then be a 7 day trial period to make sure the dog is the right fit in your home. If we collectively determine the dog is the right fit, we will ask at the end of the 7 days to finalize the adoption by signing an adoption contract and make it official. Adoption/Donation Fees Donation fees vary based on each puppy or dog and typically range from $200 - $500. These fees take into consideration age, training level, temperament, if they’re newly arrived, medical condition(s), if any, and other factors. The HIT Living Foundation provides spay / neutered, micro-chip and current on DHPP and Rabies Vaccines. Adoptions fees are used not only to rescue and place the dog you are personally adopting, but to aid in the future rescue and rehabilitation of other deserving dogs. Adoption fees are necessary; without fees, our rescue efforts would quickly come to an end. The fee will be required up front and will be refunded if the dog is returned with in the 7 day trial period. If the dog is returned after the 7 days, there will be no refund issued. As a non-profit, heavily volunteer based operation, all proceeds go towards the rescue, medical care, sterilization, vaccination and boarding of the dogs. *We reserve the right to deny an adoption applicant. If you are interested in adopting one of our dogs please complete our online application.Shelter locationWe foster in the valley of Los Angeles and have flexibility for meet and greets, week days, weekends.
