Smarty will steal your heart-y. He's a wonderful gentle loaf he was terrified when he got to the shelter. Now, he's happy to show off his biscuit making skills whenever he can. When he makes eye contact, he really "sees" you and it's like he's looking directly into your soul with complete sincerity. He's a solid, thick boy who is looking for a nice window to lay in. He acts as his own heated blanket. He does great with other cats.Adoption processAdoptions can be completed at our Fort Lupton Shelter or at one of our many adoption events that are held every Saturday around the Denver metro area. See our event tab on our website for more details.Shelter locationThere are several ways you can meet our animals: 1) Come to our shelter in Fort Lupton. We are open Monday - Sunday 10am -5pm, no appointment necessary. 2) Weekend adoption events every Saturday. See our event tab on our website to see what dogs will be attending and where. 3) If the animal is in foster care, once your application is approved you will receive an email with next steps to setting up a meet & greeet.
