Toots is shy. She was a feral kitten when we got her. She loves the company of other cats, and humans who will take their time and be very patient with her. She is a ball of love when she gets comfortable with you.August 13, 2022, 12:16 amAdoption processAll dogs require a 6' fence or secure kennel area while they are outside (they can't be tethered). Make sure you bring pictures or video of your fence-in-yard with you standing next to the fence. All the cats must be inside only pets. If you rent, please make sure you bring a written consent from your landlord. If an adoption doesn't work out the dog or cat is to be returned to CAPS. We do not adopt puppies or kittens 6 months of age or younger to families with children 5 years of age or younger. The adoption fee for adult dogs and puppies over 6 months is $80 and the foster-to-adopt deposit for puppies under 6 months is $130. The adoption fee for adult cats and kittens over 6 months is $50 and the foster-to-adopt deposit for kittens under 6 months is $100. Call to learn more about our Foster-to-Adopt program for puppies and kittens under 6 months.
