Meet Crouton! She’s a sweet and playful young cat with a love of small toy mice and head bonks. She arches her back to get more pets and enjoys chasing the cat dancer around when she’s feeling rambunctious. She’s a little nervous with loud noises and sudden movements at first. But with some patience and a quiet home, Crouton is bound to become the snuggliest girl! Once she’s comfortable in a new space, she’ll cozy up next to you on a soft blanket and make biscuits. Crouton gets along well with cat friends after appropriate intros. Crouton’s ear is tipped because she was originally going to be part of a trap-neuter-return project. But she decided that she’d prefer the indoor life instead—smart girl! We are a small, all-volunteer group and we are doing our best to work quickly! After the application is processed we will make arrangements for you to meet the cats that interest you. All of our cats and kittens are raised in our homes and live with us until they are adopted. They live with us as part of our families so we know them very well and we can help you find your perfect cat! Cats are rarely caged (only if its medically necessary) so you can visit with them and see how they act in a home. Our adoption fees: Kittens (under 6 months): $150 (or 2 for $225) Adults (6 months to 7 years): $75 (or 2 for $100) Seniors (8 years and up): $40 (or 2 for $60) All cats are spayed or neutered, tested for FIV/FeLV, dewormed, vaccinated for rabies (if age appropriate) and distemper, and microchipped.February 22, 2024, 3:55 pmAdoption processAn adoption application can be filled out online through our web site www.commcat.org. We will process your application as soon as possible. Our adoption fees are $50 for adults and $85 for kittens under one year old. Adoption fees include the spay or neuter, rabies and distemper vaccinations, worming, and microchipping.Shelter locationWe are completely foster home based and do not cage our cats unless medically necessary. Because we are foster home based, we require an approved application on file and will then make arrangements for you to meet that special cat or kitten!
