Adoption processOur animals are available for adoption during our business hours. We do not have the room to put animals on HOLD. Adoptions are not first come first serve, but the best application for each individual pet. If two applications are equally qualified for the same pet, the first received application will be approved. The adoption fee for dogs is $85.00 and $60.00 for cats. Includes one round of vaccinations, rabies, deworming, micro-chipping, spay/neuter, and dogs will be heartwormed if over 6 months of age. You need to be 18 years old to adopt a pet. We do check references before adopting a pet to a new owner and have the option to do home checks. This is to insure that the animal is going to a safe and forever home. If you are interested in one of our pets, please e-mail us XXXX@nsb-graham.com to request an application. We can e-mail, fax or mail an application to you. Or fill out our online application at www.humanesociety-yc.org You can also fax your application in (940) 521-XXXX.
