Hi there! I'm Squeaks. I came to HART when I was just three months old, along with my siblings and feral mom. Life wasn't easy at first – I had an intestinal tract infection, Calicivirus, and skin & eye infections. But thanks to the amazing care from the vets and the HART staff, after several months of treatment, I started feeling much better.I was adopted into a loving home with my brother, Roscoe. However, after a year and a half, we had to come back to HART because our family couldn't take care of us anymore.Now, I'm all grown up cat and 2 years old, and people say I'm quite gorgeous. I love playing with wand toys and snuggling up on laps. I've got a giant purr that I use to show you how when I'm happy. Unfortunately, I'm still not feeling well. I stand and walk stiffly, and an X-ray showed that I have arthritis in my joints. That's unusual for a young lady like myself. HART has been working hard to figure out what's going on with my health, but in the meantime, has been giving me medication to help my joints feel better.My brother, Roscoe, has comforted me through sickness and health, and we need to go to our fur-ever home together. We get along well with other cats so we would also do well with other calm cats or kittens in the house. Right now, I am in a temporary foster home, but my foster will be moving this spring, so HART is looking for a permanent foster home for us. Our address is 2638 Main Street, Cambria, CA. 93428. Our shelter is currently open Tuesday thru Saturday, 12pm - 5pm.
