Are you looking for a SUPER SPECIAL special needs kitty? Look no further than Sunkist! Little Sunkist came to us as a paralyzed stray kitten after being hit by a car. He could not walk or urinate on his own. For several months the shelter staff nursed him back to health and he regained the use of his right leg . Unfortunately, his left leg was still paralyzed and becoming wounded, so an amputation was done to remove this painful leg. Also, he does not consistently urinate on his own and needs an owner who can be taught to manually express his bladder daily. He is on several medications, which he takes well in his food, and a regimen of strengthening exercises for his leg. He will need an angel of an owner who can also provide regular vet care for him. Despite being through so much, Sunkist is a loving, spunky, playful young cat who is ready for a dedicated family to love him forever!
