Meet Chai!This handsome orange boy has had a rough life.Chai was rescued from the streets of Madelia. He was battered and tattered and worn out, likely from getting into cat fights with other cats.He was brought to the shelter and given a new lease on life. Eventually it was discovered that Chai was having occasional seizures.Working with out vet, Chai is now on a medication to prevent his seizures. He will likely need this medication for life. It is given twice a day. The medication is very reasonably priced, however, at about $18 per month.Chai was always a friendly, loving kitty. He's becoming depressed at the shelter and isn't as happy and friendly as normal. We'd love to see him get out of the shelter and into his forever home.Chai's adoption fee has been waived.Chai is neutered and vaccinated.
