Pax means peace.This senior kitty may be kinda old, but she's as sharp as can be! Pax is a beautiful calico girl who has it all—sass, a determined meow, and a stare that will persuade you to drop everything and feed her. She loves to cuddle and is more than happy to snuggle up with you on the couch and binge watch Castle, preferably with the fireplace cheerfully crackling in the background. Pax likes to sleep “near” other cats, but is not interested in too much play or interaction.Pax has kidney disease and needs fluids 1-2X per week. Her previous owner was subjected to domestic violence and eventually passed away, leaving Pax malnourished and dehydrated. Since being rescued she has gained weight and is thriving!The perfect forever home for Pax will be in a household that is not too crazy. She would love to have a human (or humans) who will dote on her in her golden years and spend plenty of time hanging out and cuddling with her. She gets along with other cats, but kittens or especially young, rambuctious cats would not be her cup of tea. She definitely needs another laidback kitty in her new home to keep her on her toes.
