Waffle is a boy who can be shy at first, but, once comfortable in a new environment, becomes quite playful. He is active, cuddly and sweet. He loves to play with his sister, Marshmallow, and she actually helps him feel more confident around new people. Waffle and Marshmallow were rescued as tiny kittens from a condemned house, along with their mom, Ice Cream. He learned early on to love hugs, pets and cuddles but he does take his time getting used to new dynamics and will need a patient family that will give him and Marshmallow time to adjust. He prefers to sit in your lap and be held while you pet him and will often take a snooze that way. www.hsaconline.org/adopt.htmlAdoption processOur adoption process includes an application, a reference check and a home visit. We strive to match humans and animals so that they can enjoy many happy years together. Our fosters are up to date on all appropriate vaccines and de-worming, micro-chipped and spayed/neutered. Dogs 6 months of age and older are tested for heartworms and all cats are combo tested for FeLV and FIV.
